I have to ask; is the governor’s departure a good thing, or not for the Kansas GOP?
I’m ignorant on Kansas’ politics, but I always worry some GOP presidential appointments can take people out of offices the GOP would be served better if they stayed in.
I like Brownback, always have and hate to see him go, but I think he has presidential designs.
He’s slashed taxes, but there’s a shortfall now - partially because the Supreme Court continually orders more school funding. Plus he’s known as a conservative Christian, so anyone left of center loses their damn mind when his name is mentioned.
