Russia's Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov has taken part in a surprise meeting with counterparts from Turkey and the US in the Turkish city of Antalya. The focus of the discussion was on security issues in Syria and Iraq, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement.
On Monday, the Pentagon confirmed a small number of US troops had been sent to the northern Syrian town of Manbij to deter fighting between the US-backed Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed rebels.

Kick Turkey out of NATO and let the Russians take Istanbul and the Bosphorus Strait. The Kurds carve out a peice of eastern Turkey for their homeland and the Turks can suck it.
Works for me. In return, the Russians turn on Iran and we do with the Persians as we wish. Like bomb every mosque, hospital, govt. building, school, bridge, communications facility etc. and completely destroy their military. Then walk away. No fixing it all back.

I thought the US solved this mess this morning. After reading this, sounds like I got wrong impression.

That reaction is totally insane. Makes no sense. There is no current justification.
I do not believe this will be “mediated” by the Russians.
