Doesn't really matter what he would say because computers are/will be in everything - appliances, toys, communication devices, homes, cars - you name it. The Internet of Things (IoTs)

Well....electronic engine controls, (ignition and fuel injection) are light years better than points and carburetors, but it pretty much ends right there.

Most of the digital crap on cars is just that. ABS sucks, TPMS sucks, computerized transmissions suck. You don't need a computer to regulate the alternator, flash the turn signals, auto-lock the doors, control the heater, dim the headlights or DRIVE THE FREAKIN CAR.

So I pretty much agree with the old man.
