In the same way that newspapers needed to be sued everytime someone was assaulted by someone whose classified advertisement they had answered.

Don’t promote lawsuit lotteries.

If an employee of a company commits a crime against an individual, that company can be sued and held liable.

One man’s “lawsuit lottery” is another man’s “justice before law”.

Companies bear responsibility for the conduct of their employees.

The rape victim in Virginia Beach may have mental and relationship issues the rest of her life.

I’m against frivolous lawsuits (McDonalds coffee spilt, and sued for burns), but not all lawsuits are frivolous.

there’s a BIG difference here: newspapers/craigslist make no representation that they’ve vetted those who place ads; Uber does represent that they’ve vetted their drivers.
