RE: I heard Judge Napolatano say this morning that the President did NOT need anyone to sign off.
Well, according to Judge Napolitano, IT’s THE LAW. So, if Obama decided to do surveillance on Trump IT IS ACTUALLY LEGAL ( “Lawful” according to Napolitano ).
The question is this — was the law written to allow President’s spy on one’s political enemy?
Napolitano says that the purpose is to spy on those the President believes are enemies of the country. The language of the law is however, so broad that it can be used to spy on ANYONE.
The idiots who wrote this law made this practice so pervasive that it has now become EASY to spy on ANY American citizen.
So, every piece of data that goes through the communication networks CAN BE TAPPED.
Napolitano keeps emphasizing -— THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT NEED A FISA WARRANT.
In other words, we’ve allowed this perverted law to make what ANY President would do LEGAL.
And here’s the disturbing implication of the FISA law as we written now -— EVEN IF WE DISCOVERED THAT IT WAS OBAMA HIMSELF WHO ORDERED THE FISA WIRETAP. HE DID NOTHING ILLEGAL.
*That* is what we have allowed the government to do to us.
