The problem with that excuse is there will need to be entries in the surveillance logs to back it up. If there are, and that’s a big ‘if’, it is a good bet the President would have by now outed the persons involved to confirm the allegations.
It’s also a good bet the surveillance record is now preserved and under the control of Director Pompeo. so there is very little chance the democrats and their CIA rogue operators could pull a ‘Sandy Berger’ on the logs or alter them.
The FISA warrant application should have the backstory and if the surveillance was ordered direct by Obama, the NSA or CIA will have records of the finding.
The fact that the narrative of Trump and Russians conspiring to rig the election has been dropped and has disappeared is telling.
That last minute order signed by Lynch relaxing the dissemination of raw data to something like 17 agencies is also telling. It shows a blatant attempt by Obama to keep contact with the raw data through his insiders.
As President Trump said the Russian story of rigging the election is a ruse. That points to something else that Obama wanted his leakers to find and be alert to. Because the Russian connection is very likely a ruse (otherwise different actions of President Trump would have been observed), it means the ‘raw data’ must be manufactured to support the ruse.
Somehow, Obama’s spies appear not to have yet been able to pull off what was planned. They are losing. There is an intriguing backstory that is yet to be known.
We know now with certainty that the democrat progressives and their media minions LIE. The backstory is highly likely to be a failed attempt at manufacturing the LIE they needed to present as fact, to discredit the President and to force the President to step down or face impeachment.
Somewhere along this path, there has been a failure by the democrats. That’s where the real story resides, in the details of the failed coup.
