Scott Charney entered a plea agreement to the charge of Conspiracy to Commit Assault. The agreement includes community service and deferred sentencing.
This is the third scalp related to #DisruptJ20 to be claimed by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.
They’re terrorists; they should have done extended hard time. I am disappointed (not surprised because it’s DC, just disapointed).
Cane him - 20 lashes for the first offence

This is a slap on the wrist. Did they get any information on the higher ups in return?
Conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor is a felony.

Well, what motivated you to go there and enter in that name and read the case file?
Did you read about it on a blog? A news source?
I believe he pleaded to a misdemeanor, which the max is 6-12 months in jail, but usually is community service and/or probation for first time or infrequent offenders in DC.
Charney's arrest was widely publicized. I've been watching his case at the DC Superior Court since that time. I knew he was up for a hearing today, and I suspected he would plead out.
The next person I'm watching is Bilal Askaryar. He is accused of assaulting SecEd Betsy DeVos. Askaryar's next court date is March 17.
Okay. That’s better on the background and source of the information.
ENOUGH with the damned PLEA BARGAINS! Convict them of riot, not reduced charges!
