Mercedes uses a redundant can-bus computer system ,, I don’t know if the steering is electric but the throttle is and the brakes can be manipulated through the abs module... it is one of the most complex systems out there but to use it as a weapon you need an entry point.. bluetooth for the phone? but how to maintain the connection when the vehicle is moving? a pre-programmed kill mode .. full throttle and no brakes , no esp or traction control.. that only needs to be initiated perhaps...

What if he had been higher or lower on Highland where there was no median? Other people would have died. I wonder if he was being watched or planned to activate at that spot?
