You're telling this "story' as if Assad's hands are clean. They are not. He assisted the rat lines that helped al Qaeda ship its volunteers into Iraq where they killed many Americans. He resisted the righteous cause of those who wanted a free country by launching a war on peaceful demonstrators. He drops barrel bombs of explosives and shrapnel on market places killing indiscriminately. Many independent observers believe he has killed ten times as many Syrians as ISIS.

Many people on the right know, too, that Assad created ISIS. People who support him are simply in denial about the facts that are only too clear. One example of what Assad and for that matter Putin have been about is their unwillingness to go after ISIS in the long war they've been waging to keep Assad in power. They've preferred to eliminate all other opposition first so as to use ISIS as the excuse for their war.

I don’t like Assad. Never did and never will. However, our meddling in the Middle East and ignorance in supporting the Arab Spring was a match that helped light the fire.

There are many things at play, but my point was not to defend or even like Assad (although a reset to a few years ago would look much better). It was to point out that the radical shift in our foreign policy came about at the same time the huge donations and pledges were made to the Clinton foundation.

Consider, if MSM reports are to be believed that Obama did not really want to get involved in Libya, but Clinton and foggy bottom were pushing him to do so. At that point, it appeared to become personal for Clinton when it came to Libya. We bumbled and fumbled our way through the whole mess with a policy that even had the leftist media scratching their heads.

We had NO BUSINESS pushing for regime change in the Middle East. It was and has been a complete and total disaster that furthered the interest of a few to the detriment of many.

I don’t like any of them, but my point stands. U.S. foreign policy had been somewhat settled in the region until donations started flowing to the Clinton Foundation by players who had their own interests.

The fingerprints of Hillary were all over the place as the checks flowed.
