No reason he could not. Nixon could have potentially gone to jail had his actions warranted such prosecution and conviction, however Ford pardoning him quashed that possibility.

It's hard to envision Trump being as lenient with his own immediate predecessor however.

The obvious hurdle is that Obama is going to be deemed "too big to jail" by Democrats, by the press, by too many Republicans even (and you KNOW that worthless ex-pres GWB is going to weigh in on Obama's side).

But as the evidence mounts, it may be nearly impossible to shield Obama and his cronies.

Odds of Obama or anyone high up doing the frog march? I'd say 15%. For now.

“Nixon could have potentially gone to jail”

For crimes ridiculous in their triviality, especially in comparison to those of FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and Otard.

What was done to Nixon was exactly what they’re trying to do to Trump. Thank you, God, for the Internet.

All that you say is true. Regardless, it will remove the RATs from power for 20 years. It may bring an end to the RAT party.

“Too big to Jail” - good phrase for the occasion and I’m sure we’ll hear more of this phrase soon.

Btw, Loretta Lynch said:

Too Big to Jail - The Huffington Post

In her confirmation hearing this week to become the next U.S. attorney general, Loretta Lynch said that “no individual is too big to jail” and “no one is above the law..
