Yesterday the AP published Karen Pence's personal email address without taking the time to find out whether it was still in use. It is, and when asked to take it down, tha AP refused.
See the letter from VP Counsel below
This is actionable in a civil suit for invasion of privacy. AP should at least be threatened with one.
I don't have a high opinion of Libertarians of any stripe, having met my first one about 40+ years ago, in real life and subsequently, on line, over the years an a few different sites; none of whom changed my opinion of them. So, if you are one, sorry, but you have only strengthen my opinion.
No apologies needed. I’m a big believer in freedom of conscience.
I do feel that I owe you a bit more info, which doesn't belong on a thread. Would you mind if I PMed you?
Wouldn’t mind at all.
I’m not a Libertarian, I’m more of a Constitutionalist. But I do like and admire Rand Paul for standing up and speaking out.
To me, Rand Paul is the AntiRyan.
Get it? Like the Antichrist, but...Paul Ryan. :-)
Yes, I understand, but believe that you're giving Rand far too much credit.
When I first heard VP Pence, I thought he was great. As time went on, and I read about how close he was/is to Flake and Ryan, I began to wonder.
I would rather he not run for President at all. He is very boring to listen to, and I don’t think he would get enough people to support him.
Instead, I would like to see Sheriff Clarke run. He was absolutely brilliant in his CPAC speech. Depth of thought, depth of conviction, no-nonsense, strong leader who has the “It” factor.
