I hope you're right, but am cautious because the Left never, ever goes quietly into that good night. Never! Already this morning on Fox, Geraldo Rivera gave what seemed at minimum a superficially plausible reason why the Obama administration might have wiretapped then candidate Trump and his associates. So I doubt very much that suddenly the Left will back down.
