Trump needs to get to work in a shock and awe manner.
Shock and awe is executive orders, since legislative is too slow and may be compromised. I'd like to see President Trump's orders:
(1) Reverse every Obama executive order, without exception. That should have been done Day 1, but the oversight can be corrected now. Who knows how many seemingly benign poison pills could be removed, along with the known terrible requirements.
(2) Freeze union shops out of government contracts. That could be done by ordering that federal contracts can only go to companies without unions or that meet full "right to work" standards for their employees if there is a union. Out of 50 states, 28 have right to work laws, and Trump could reasonably argue that these basic human rights protected in a majority of the states should also be protected for all workers on federal contracts.
This does not solve the entire problem, but it does weaken AFL-CIO, Teamsters, and SEIU, which are three of the biggest opponents of the Trump agenda and of American freedom. [I don't see any non-legislative way to take down the American Federation of Teachers or the National Education Association.] Throw in firing every Obama appointee and sympathizer in Justice, and it's a start.
