I work for a company that had me sign a confidentiality clause so as not to reveal how they reach the top of Google search results. That’s how important search results are.

It’s a tool - in development - for identifying toxic comments, which there IS a problem with (there are jerks all across the sociopolitical spectrum, and they’re good at wrecking otherwise interesting discussions of all kinds). Nobody is being forced to use it. Those sites that _choose_ to use it have the right to curate their content as they see fit. You don’t have to visit those sites, and are welcome to set up your own.

There are several problems with the AI by design and through the process of “improving” it as it learns:
* The people who designed the algorithm are already biased to the liberal side, and their AI will have biases against certain views.
* The data set it initially used comes from exclusively liberally biased sites like NYT, so all the data on “unacceptable” comments is per far left wing standards
* The comment flagging brigades whether on Youtube, Reddit or Google’s sites are overwhelming liberal digital hate mobs, organized by left wing activists to further bias the algorithms. So what gets past the AI today will be flagged as unacceptable in the future.
It’s biased. Plain as day.
I typed in “Behead those who insult the Koran.” 68% found that toxic.
Then I typed in “Behead those who insult the Bible.” 73% found that toxic.
So, while there are lots of contemporary news stories about Islamic Fundamentalists beheading people, there are no stories (because it isn’t happening) of Christian Fundamentalists beheading people.
Yet 5% more find the purposefully Christian statement toxic? This just shows the Left wing, anti-Christian bias of Google Perspective.
