“In lumine Tuo videbimus lumen” (In Thy light shall we see light) is Columbia University’s motto. However, they are keeping many students in the dark when it comes to debates about free speech on campus. The Gateway Pundit’s White House correspondent Lucian Wintrich, along with Breitbart writers Charles Nash and Allum Bokhara, were booked by a Columbia University student organization to give an open panel discussion on campus free speech set for Thursday, March 3rd. The student organization was also organizing to invite a liberal writer on the panel to debate Wintrich, Nash, and Bokhara. Days before the event the University decided to cancel when they discovered that the speakers were from The Gateway Pundit and Breitbart due to “security concerns”. After school administrators found out that after March 5th, Nash and Bokhara would be back in London and Wintrich is back in D.C., the administration said that Wintrich, Nash, and Bokhara are welcome to speak on the 9th. Obviously, that is an impossibility.

The student group which organized the event states they filled out all necessary paperwork and completed all other requirements for the event, which included booking a room for the talk, taking an online course, and providing a list of topics to be discussed. The school later contacted the student organization telling them the event was being canceled because of security concerns. A club organizer for Columbia’s Young Republicans even tried booking just Wintrich and a liberal writer to debate at an ordinary meeting – typically the administrators cannot control who are invited to speak at schdueled club meetings rather than schduled lecturs – but the administrator’s then accused the club head of “loophole finding” in a text message obtained between two club heads.

Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism should be renamed Columbia University Graduate School of Marxist Propaganda.

It’s something like $100,000 a year to go to that school which teaches you how to not be a journalist..

Why anyone in their right Minds would go and pay for such a degree when gift shop clerks and Lucky Charms Advocates are outdoing them, I have no earthly idea.

One of the reasons is the opportunity to ascend the ranks of certain high(er) profile organizations-including those in our government.

Consider it like paying membership dues or the fee to be an apprentice. The reality of the degree/what is learned is moot.

Oh, internally, they know it is and are quite proud of it.

Search up The Frankfurt School, the Marxist-socialist group that left Germany in the mid 1940's. They chose Columbia U as their base of operations, infiltrated it, then began their work in America - the long plan, of indoctrinating our youth until we would, ourselves, choose Marxism.

They infiltrated teaching colleges, unions, pubic schools, the D party, media, many associations and then church hierarchies.

Look at who is causing great problems in America and who went to Columbia U. Quite aligned.

These speakers are paid from student fees. At the end of the year, students who feel their views have not been represented by the speaker selection should have their fees refunded.
