NO.

You are WRONG.

The President said, and I quote: “He could have stated his response more accurately, but it was clearly not intentional.”

Democrats don’t care about intent. Democrats care about made-up scandals, and President Trump just played into their hands.

This was a mistake, and if you cannot see it, you are BLIND.

Of course the Democrats don't care about intent. Fortunately, they're not in charge, and the majority of this country does care about intent. But nothing the President has done here has "played into their hands". That's just hysteria.

This was a mistake, and if you cannot see it, you are BLIND.

What precisely was a mistake? The President's response? BALDERDASH.

What Sessions did was a mistake, of course. But it was a relatively minor one. People make mistakes all the time, and this one is a NOTHINGBURGER.

If you expect no mistakes to be made by this administration, you are living in La-La Land. When one does happen, it doesn't mean the sky is falling—certainly not in this case.

When dealt a bad hand, the administration has to respond as best it can. That's what it just did, IMHO, second guesses notwithstanding.

Everything the President said in his response makes perfect sense to me, and I'm glad he said it.

There's no way to magically take this whole incident and "make it didn't happen", so the admin dealt with it in a reasonable manner. What else do you expect, if not that?

You're going to need lots of Tums if you don't expect this kind of crap every single day from the Media, whether it be for big mistakes, small mistakes, or even no mistakes (on days when there are none).

There's absolutely no justification for the abject hand-wringing that I'm seeing, and that's what is playing into the hands of the Enemy more than anything else.

This administration is less than a month and a half old, for God's sake!

I still remember the first time I heard Candidate Bush use the term “Compassionate Conservatism”.

Fed right into the Liberal narrative that Conservatives have no compassion and Bush affirmed it while thinking he was smarter than the average Bear.

You can’t cede Liberals one Molecule.

“He could have stated his response more accurately, but it was clearly not intentional.”

What I believe Trump is saying here is that during the hearings Sessions should’ve perhaps included mentioning his meetings with the Russian ambassador as part of his duties as Senator, but that the meetings had nothing to do with the campaign, and their were no other contacts with Russian officials. This way Sessions would’ve covered all of his bases. So the term “not intentional” is not suggesting any improper contacts with Russian officials not being disclosed, or any other wrongdoing.
