Kushner and Flynn Met With Russian Envoy in December, White House Says
NY Times ^ | 03/02/17 | MICHAEL S. SCHMIDT

Posted on 03/02/2017 3:11:31 PM PST by Enlightened1

Jared Kushner, Mr. Trump’s son-in-law and now a senior adviser, also participated in the meeting at Trump Tower with Mr. Flynn and Sergey I. Kislyak, the Russian ambassador. But among Mr. Trump’s inner circle, it is Mr. Flynn who appears to have been the main interlocutor with the Russian envoy — the two were in contact during the campaign and the transition, Mr. Kislyak and current and former American officials have said.

But the extent and frequency of their contacts remains unclear, and the disclosure of the meeting at Trump Tower adds to the emerging picture of how the relationship between Mr. Trump’s incoming team and Moscow was evolving to include some of the president-elect’s most trusted advisers.

The White House has repeatedly sought to play down any connections with Mr. Kislyak. Attorney General Jeff Sessions acknowledged this week that he had met twice with him during the campaign, despite previous denials.

The New Yorker reported this week that Mr. Kushner had met with Mr. Kislyak at Trump Tower in December. Hope Hicks, a White House spokeswoman, confirmed on Thursday that Mr. Flynn was also at the meeting in response to questions from a New York Times reporter.

It is common and not improper for transition officials to meet with foreign officials. But all meetings between Trump associates and Russians are now significant as the F.B.I. investigates Russian interference in the American election and whether anyone close to Mr. Trump’s campaign was involved.

The meeting in December came at a crucial time, just as the Obama White House was preparing to sanction Russia and publicly make its case that Moscow had interfered with the 2016 election.

An incoming administration isn’t supposed to begin making foreign policy contacts? They’d be incompetent if they didn’t.

Let’s all read the slop the Nytimes is pushing the red scare from the left, of all places. Unlike the Cold War, Moscow does not command a world empire. Though a nuclear superpower still, she is a nation whose GDP is that of Spain and whose population of fewer than 150 million is shrinking. And Russia threatens no U.S. vital interest.

Where America is besieged by millions of illegal immigrants crossing from Mexico, Russia faces to her south 1.3 billion Chinese looking hungrily at resource-rich Siberia and Russia’s Far East.

The China that is pushing America and its allies out of the East and South China Seas is also building a new Silk Road through former Russian and Soviet provinces in Central Asia. With an estimated 16 million Muslims, Russia is threatened by the same terrorists, and is far closer to the Middle East, the source of Sunni terror. Is Putin’s Russia an enemy, as a lying pack of demrats, the old media, and McCain suggest?

“So I guess Jared will be asked to step down too.”

I sure hope so. (And it has NOTHING to do with his religion.)

The charge is bogus and Democrats know it. The goal is to create an aura of scandal.

Trump should regret firing Flynn, who did nothing but talk to Russians, which every such advisor does during an incomming admin.

Trump was Flynn’s boss , I would not be revieling much to Pence who has to be read in.

So now we replaced an anti dark web, non war happy Flynn with McMasters who doesn’t feel comfortible saying Radical Islamic Terrorism.

Every day we find out McMasters is a Neocon, and a guy who is in the McCain foreign and military policy mode.

I say if you want this to stop get Flynn back and give him the job of sniffing out the leakers so Jeff Sessions can prosecute them.

Look to the Pinochet model.

Or let the domestic enemy destroy the Trump Administration.

It’s rather actually a simple decision.

Kill, or be killed.

Good! Great for them for getting a head start on their jobs. Of course, the left is trying to stir up a new Cold War solely for domestic political reasons, while naturally not caring much about stopping Islamic terrorism, our actual enemy. I certainly hope the American people are not so stupid as to be misled in such a troubling and dangerous direction.

Many on the loony left online have already been referring to Trump as a “Russian spy,” as if he’s been handing over all our secrets to the Russians, you know, just because. Naturally, they have exactly zero evidence for such a laughable claim, but that never stops them.

Flynn wasn’t forthright with his bosses.

That’s why he resigned .

Jared’s interaction was —after— the election.

“Kill, or be killed.”

The executive branch was run by Soros & the muslim brotherhood for 8 years. A coup. 8 years to thoroughly corrupt every agency and put their apparatchiks in place.

When Barry & Val actually vacated the White House, it kind of surprised me. Why would they give up all their ill gotten gains? Turns out the leaving was just for appearance purposes...All their stooges and saboteurs are still in place working to take down the nascent administration.

These leftists are true believers, maoist & stalinist types. Running a shadow coup against Trump. Which gets me to my point...I can’t be the only one that sees how dangerous these aholes are. With the entire republic at stake and the chance of serious blood shed if the left prevails, I’m perplexed at why they’re kowtowing to these scumbags.

I don’t know exactly what happened with the Flynn snafu, but when you have enemy combatants within our own gubbermint leaking information to the press, my first instinct is not to persecute the guy the leaks were intended to target. I don’t care if Flynn fvcking killed somebody. You never, EVER give these leftist aholes a foothold when so much is at stake.

Enemy +1

When asked by the press about Sessions, the admin should have laughed in their face.

The fact that Sessions gave a serious response at all to the fakestream media.....

Enemy + 2

It’s looking like the left may force us to kill every last one of them

Those are good observations. Its true, the Russians are not perceived as the bitter adversaries they once were. However, what the Dems are doing is attempting to raise suspicions in the minds of the public that something nefarious and underhanded was going on, and that the Trump campaign benefited from it. The Russians are, in this case, serving as a sort of “foil” or contrast to the self-righteous Democrats who are implying that they would never engage in this kind of trickery (LOL). They want it to appear that Trump is in league with a bad actor; it senationalizes the charges of an evil scheme.

Accusing someone of something is made easier when you can tie them to someone else who is already perceived as a boogieman. The Democrats are notorious for using this tactic. They are also good at labeling people. One obvious example is their vilification of the Halliburton company and their attempts to associate it with Dick Chaney.

Of course the Democrats have the media pushing their fake stories and reinforcing the accusations using unnamed sources and innuendo. They pound away daily. And it works on a gullible public. Even the Republicans fall for it.

Goebbels, the Nazi propagandist, would be envious of their success in using the Big Lie.

*************

That Democrats hate being laughed at. That is exactly what Sessions should have done. Just derisively dismissed the whole thing as a political stunt by a desperate party that is losing across the board. Never give in to these people.

Unfortunately, the reality is that Republicans are weak and intimidated by the Left. Its never going to change.
