During a press conference on Thursday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions stated, “I never had meetings with Russian operatives or Russian intermediaries about the Trump campaign,” and “no such things were discussed” during his meeting with the Russian ambassador, and “my reply to the question of Senator Franken was honest and correct as I understood it at the time. I appreciate that some have taken the view that this was a false comment. That is not my intent. That is not correct.”

After 8 years of daily crimes against this country by the Obama administration, suddenly the Demwits are concerned about the rule of law.
So why did he feel the need to recuse himself?
Then don’t recuse yourself!
He has also agreed to give Hillary the pardon Obama declined to grant.
This is because any prosecution of any Democrat from now on — including Hillary — will instantly be seized on as campaign-related. The Democrats and the fake-news MSM will go wild, claiming Sessions went back on his word, Sessions lied when he said he would recuse himself, Sessions is working hand-in-hand with the Russians to damage the Democrat party and destabilize our government, etc., etc.
Very bad move, IMHO.

That’s what ETHICAL lawyers do when an investigation about themselves may come up and they are connected with the investigating authority. Ethical is the key word.
Compare with Eric Holder not recusing himself when the DOJ investigated fast and furious. This does not give Democrats a pass in being investigated by him and the DOJ. This is the proper thing to do.

Hold another speech or press conf with Spicer or that other young guy with FACTS and calling out names.
I think it hilarious when Al Frankenstein gets all self righteous about Repubs when if I remember right, he won his first ticket to congress when the Demoncrat Sec. of State allow 341 felons to vote and he won by the margin of 312 votes.
Jeff Sessions should have said to Al Franken that he is going to investigate the voter fraud Al was involved with.
Then why in hell did you CAPITULATE to the Democrats?
Two days after Trump OWNED Congress, a former Senator tucks his tail in and bows down to Democrat demands for recusal. We will NEVER get anything done if Trump's cabinet bows to every Democrat-media axis demand.
