Democratic Rep. Stephen Lynch slams media’s ‘steady drumbeat of attack’ against Trump

Democratic Rep. Stephen Lynch says the media’s “steady drumbeat of attack” against President Trump has destroyed their credibility.

“I don’t think he’s been treated fairly in the media,” the Massachusetts representative told WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Joe Mathieu on Wednesday, Mediaite reported.

“I thought that one of the biggest casualties of this past election was the credibility of the media,” Mr. Lynch said. “I read probably six or seven newspapers a day, my staff sends me the clips, and there was just a steady drumbeat of attack against Donald Trump.

“It seemed like some press outlets became completely unshackled from responsible journalism,” he added.

Mr. Lynch said he noticed a dramatic shift in Mr. Trump’s first address to Congress Tuesday night from his previous, “sometimes inflammatory rhetoric.”

“I thought he was much more conciliatory,” the Democrat said. “He urged us at one part to get past the trivial differences and work together. That’s not been his mode of operating, at least up until this point.”

Crumbling is NOT enough. It would be preferable to see them as dust to be eliminated by a feather duster or Pledge and a dust cloth. The gentleman is given credit for speaking the truth, but we are asking, why is he still in the party which has shown such hatred for America and her people.

A round of golf and a fifty dollar steak dinner with Mr T should convince him!

When they had a multiplicity of opinions. They kept each other more or less honest. Now they’re all on the same ludicrous page. They believe each other, and no one with a lick of sense believes any of them.

Excuse me, I was referring to the press. Sometimes it is difficult to discern the difference.

Stephen Lynch is a friend of a friend. From all that I have heard and seen, he's a good man. One time iron worker. Old School Dem, probably the last in the Mass delegation.

Worst thing that ever happened around here was when Mr Frosty (markey) beat him for US Senate.

“The entire speech was supremely presidential. But it wasn’t without humor. After excoriating both Democrats and Republicans for spending $6 trillion in the Middle East, he said, “We could have rebuilt our country — twice.””

This was THE most compelling comment of the entire speech. Collectively, Boosh and Obola, have not only emptied the bank, but they’ve mortgaged the future of this country for multiple generations. Think of it, the National Debt was less than $6 trillion in 2000, and now it’s $20 trillion! Boosh added $3 trillion, the rest was all Obola! This IS Obola’s single most destructive act, and our “Congress” went along with it!

I’ve never heard of a Massachusetts Democrat being “sane”, rational, or out of lockstep with their Marxist leaders.
Perhaps, and I say this with some good will, Rep. Lynch has seen something about his own side, esp. the press, that has forced him to at least look at, if not, evaluate, who the Democrats and the mainstream media really are.

They're crumbling.

Depending on how the latest Sessions deal turns out, they will be re-energized.

And he’s “the best”, by far, of the Massholestan Congressional Delegation.

Even CA, NY, IL, etc. have better representation.
