President Donald Trump is "heavily engaged" with business, making a dramatic change from the Obama administration which was "dismissive" of the community, Martin Sorrell, the CEO of the world's largest advertising firm WPP, said on Wednesday.
Sorrell, who sits on the Business Council in the U.S., slammed former President Barack Obama's track record with firms and said Trump's policies will boost growth.
"What is dramatically clear, whereas the Obama administration was indifferent or I would say almost dismissive of the business community and dismissive of
engagement, this is an administration that is clearly from a U.S. perspective, pro-growth, pro-business and heavily engaged
it has been peppered with engagement with different parts," Sorrell said during a talk hosted by CNBC at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

No surprise there. Obama viewed businesses as a cash cow; Trump regards them as the lifeblood of prosperity.
The stock market reflects this. I saw where the DOW has broke the 21,000 barrier this morning.
“making a dramatic change from the Obama administration
which was “dismissive” of the community,”
Obama was incompetent and no more qualified for the presidency as a senior High School President of his class.
Thank God, the strength of the USA might still see us through this. No doubt the left hates Trump and they want him out of there at all cost.
His leading from behind was the only leading he was capable of doing. It’s like walking into a room at a party. What do you do? Walk over to the bar and grab a drink or walk right in and start mingling. Obama was the look first, then go from there.
Totally incompetent.
Our country in all its facets is worse now than ever.
“O” and big ‘MO’ don’t understand money or wealth.
Whatever they own or have achieved is because they gamed a system that gave them an edge over people who actually worked and struggled to get anything or anywhere.
The personal struggle associated with accumulating a savings, getting through college, climbing up a professional ladder, is something totally alien to them. THEY always had a leg up, so to speak and never really faced hardship or doubt about their future...because the system was their safety net.
Obama, in his own words, in his own book, describes his one brief experience holding a job in the private sector as “going behind enemy lines”.
All that “you didn’t build that” propaganda garbage is coming home to roost now.
Good post, in one sentence, hammer head meets nail...:)
I don’t think we are worse now than we were on 1/20/2017!
So there is that...:)
Notice how many have over the last 5 weeks seem to now remember where they kept their spines and cojones for the last 8 years?
They didn’t speak out against Obama when it might have made a difference and helped the country.
But now that Donald Trump has done the heavy lifting, spent his own money and given up the life of a billionaire to wrest the country back from the democrats we see people coming out of the woodwork to voice honest criticism of Obama.
Obama was not engaged in dealing with business.
He WAS engaged with boot licking media types, socialist academics, race hustlers and domestic terrorists.
Priorities, man. Priorities.
“Thank God, the strength of the USA might still see us through this”
We don’t deserve it (and I really thought He was done with us in 2012), but God just might be blessing us again. He sent us a champion named Trump who astounds me daily.
I guess that's a mild way of putting Obama's "You didn't build that!" smarmy socialism.
