Two or three times he looked directly at the ‘rats, after saying something like “Can’t we stop the petty political bickering and work together for the people?” challenging them. I thought it was electric, brilliant.

Whoa! I guess even he knew he couldn’t get away with claiming that Trump did a bad job when his speech was so obviously great. Sometimes a lie would be too blatant for even some of the CNN commentators.
Exactly. Also, I do trust that he isn’t out to get us, so that if there is a deal made, it really probably be there very best one that could be made, and would be a step (or steps) in the right direction.
