In every country but America, blue is the conservative colour and red is the socialist colour (and I put the u in colour just to yank your chains).

I thought years/decades ago the "R" was BLUE. It seems logical that the COMMIE party should be represented by RED

As I recall the incumbents were blue and the other party was red. That changed the Bush/ Gore night. I was watching that night at a GOP party and we were all thinking "What the heck?" Figured the MSM didn't want the commie label on the rats.
