Barack Obama's attorney general Eric Holder says the former president is itching for a public return to politics.
“It’s coming,” he told reporters Tuesday while discussing the new National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), according to Politico.
“He’s coming,” added Holder, whom Obama asked to chair the NDRC last year. "And he’s ready to roll. [Obama] will be a more visible part of the effort.”
Holder said he had discussed Obama fundraising for the NDRC and interacting with state lawmakers on the group’s behalf with the former president. The former attorney general also predicted Republicans would shed state legislative seats in off-year elections in 2018 due to their party’s control of the White House.
“I expect we’ll see that on steroids with President Trump,” he said before criticizing Jeff Sessions, Trump’s attorney general.
Holder said the Department of Justice’s decision Monday not to challenge a controversial voting ID law in Texas is “disheartening.”
“It would be good to have the Justice Department on our side,” Holder said of the DOJ’s tenure under Sessions so far. "It doesn’t mean the argument can’t be made, and can’t be made well.”
“This is really a battle for our democracy,” he added. "The notion that people are denied their ability to cast a meaningful vote…is inconsistent with who we say we are, inconsistent with what we say our democracy is about.”
Reports emerged Monday that Trump’s DOJ will no longer argue that Texas intentionally sought to discriminate against minorities when it passed a controversial law on voting identification.
Monday’s news ended six years of legal wrangling between the DOJ under Obama and Texas over the rule, which mandates voters must show certain forms of identification before casting a ballot.
Holder launched the NDRC in January with a focus on addressing issues with gerrymandering and creating new electoral maps to boost Democratic representation.
The NDRC plans on examining races in every election cycle through 2020, including gubernatorial, state legislative and ballot initiative campaigns.
The group hopes to produce electoral maps more favorable to Democrats by 2021, with the committee’s ultimate goal being to regain Democratic control of the House and Senate.
Hillary was in such a fit of pique and anger over Donald Trump stealing the presidency from under her very ample ass that she singed all the hair off her body during an unexpected hot flash.
He really helped Hillary.

An analyst is warning that Barack Obama, through his political organization OFA, and its army of 30,000 operatives, poses a threat to his own Democratic Party, says a report in Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.
The analysis comes from Martin Armstrong, whose Armstrong Economics provides commentary on a wide range of issues extending beyond economics, including history, global warming, real estate and world events.
“Obama has circumvented the Democrats with [Organizing for America] and has established a clandestine unaccountable political party taking money from questionable people,” he writes. “There are many Democrats at the state level who are starting to see OFA as an organization independent of the Democratic Party itself, which [is] trying to undermine Trump, yet may in fact undermine the Democratic Party itself.”
OFA was set up when Obama began his first run for the White House, ran through his presidency and continues now that he’s out of office.
“Obama is behind the effort to derail and block the Trump administration on everything. However, Obama may be sowing the seeds of the destruction of the Democratic Party altogether. Those who think Obama is not behind this coup are blinded by their bias,” he writes. “To agree with this statement DOES NOT mean the Republicans are saints – just look at John McCain if you need reassurance. John McCain voted to tax the Internet.”
However, he says, Obama “is deliberately trying to create an uprising and is side-stepping the Democratic Party himself because they will not agree with his agenda.”

Think about it:
Holder's argument is that "blacks" (except, of course, "educated negroes" like himself who are endowed with what must be an exceptional level of intellect which -- according to Holder's logic -- whites, Asians and other "non-blacks" possess since no one -- not even Holder -- is suggesting that voter ID requirements "discourages" these people from voting) are too incompetent (that is, are they too stupid? or too lazy? or too confused? or something else? ... Holder doesn't say) to obtain identification like everyone else to preserve the integrity of the election process.
Does any decent person believe that? I surely don't ... but Holder does. And since he is so intellectually gifted (at least, that's what he claims), then his position on this matter cannot be dismissed as simply ignorant or unintelligent or illogical -- therefore, it can only be racist.
So although Eric Holder may not be a racist, he sure as hell holds a racist position regarding voter ID laws.

Totalitarianism at its worst. They seek to replace Gereymandering with Obamamandering. Rest assured, they have no intention of ending Gerrymandering unless it is in a red state. They will use their judges and locally bought officials to rig the system to give the voters the choice between democrat or democrat.
The democrats have a problem. They have become a coastal party. Their solution is what, to adapt their policies to appeal to working class voters in flyover country? No way!! They have abandoned that. Their entire effort now is to figure out how they can rig the system so that the peasants are kept in line.
