These devices have been widely used by Wawa convenience stores (northeast chain) for about 6 years.

They are primarily for sandwich orders. My kids have gotten to the point that they can order a fully customized hoagie in under 10 seconds. They workers always make it right.

They are in the process of adding the ability to submit and pay for orders with an app. Then you’ll just walk in, scan your phone receipt, and take your sub.

Our kid loves the WaWa kiosk for the fact he can “add bacon” to just about anything he orders.
