At least Trump won’t be bowing before him.
I watched the video of Trump and Abe. Yeah, maybe slightly a little bit awkward, but he was doing it for the cameras. Abe seemed a tad amused. Everyone has had an awkward handshake. I don’t remember ever reading a story about how Obama bowed to everyone or looked at them like he wanted to sleep with them that night when he met them.
Utterly meaningless BS that government and university experts say means so much. Like a negotiation success could revolve around such an inane concept.

Maybe the Chinese President can draw of his country’s 20th century history and at exactly the right moment draw himself back slightly and then take a Great Leap Forward. The media would have a field day.

I was told some time back, that an unconscious act of angling a handshake is a thing. If you shake in such a way as to have your hand on top, then you feel yourself superior to the person you are shaking with. Handshake should be perfectly straight.
