I think the Deep State/Intel Community must have evidence of some kind of contact between some dodgy Russian and someone in the Trump campaign which they are holding.
They want to bait Trump into a cover-up of it, and impeach him for the cover-up.
It’s why the AP asked him at the last press conference for him to give a “yes or no” answer and state categorically whether anyone in his campaign had had any contact with the Russians.
