My husband said he read somewhere that there is a DC rally planned, but he couldn’t recall where. I figure he must have seen someone saying it should be done.

When the TEA marches went down some complained that they were held on Saturdays and should have been held when electeds’ were on the job. I don’t think it made any difference really.

I think that if we DO have a rally in DC it should be on a weekend because it will be a rally in support and that could certainly be held regardless of where the elected people happen to be. And the people who work will be better able to arrange to attend. AND hotels in DC tend to be priced better on the weekends (varies due to season of course).

I do not think we have to worry about protesters - not since they know they will actually be charged now that obama is out of office. I have read at Gateway Pundit that some of the hard-core never-Trumpers are engaged in organizing Patriot Rally’s, supposedly in support of Trump. Sorry, but I don’t trust them, or their motives.

Anyway, a large rally means permits,insurance, porta-johns, speakers, equipment,transportation and accommodations, etc.. I haven’t heard that anything like this is in the works.

And can it be ignored? YES - I point to that photo the press still sometimes uses of the Inauguration.

But really - I would go if it comes together.

Definitely. The March for Life, which gathers 2 - 300,000 every year is almost ignored by the media. I went this year and witnessed the numbers myself. Even with President Trump calling out the media about their coverage of the (some) Women's March and asking if they would cover the March for Life, most media gave it little attention.

The Saturday Rally on Washington 9-12-2009 was packed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUPMjC9mq5Y , so was the 9-12-10 Saturday rally https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3acL1FDL90. Media ignored them both. I think going around the media is easier now than then. I would prefer nationwide local gathering spots, like the original Tea Parties. We surely could broadcast those events. DC wouldn’t get all our hard earned money either. All supportive Americans could get involved also.

We need to organize just 1 HUGE MOTHER of ALL RALLYs (state rallies ARE ignored by media) Washington DC, April 29, 2017 during Media correspondence dinner. 2 MILLION ATTENDEE MONEY SHOT! This will Show once and for all the fake news & swamp politicians our power, that we have Trumps back.

I have been to DC for 2 huge rallies that were organized by the Tea Party & Mercury radio and others. It would be nice to have a big organization to set it up with the permits, speakers & porta potties. Maybe Jim Robinson can begin to check into this as the April 29th date is less than 2 months away.

It does not have to be on Saturday April 29th, the date all the who’s who in news media & Politician’s nerd prom will be in town. The rally, can be further out if need more time to get speakers, permits etc..

JUST Whatever is planned, we need to move together in HUGE MASSES or we will be ridiculed along with President Trump by the media and the swamp politicians rinos will be empowered to push back against Trumps agenda.

I am emailing the Tea Party factions, twitter & GAB heavy hitters to see what they think about this, if they can get this going. Hopefully they are already on it, contact other likeminded organizations to put something together & Organize the biggest Rally in Washington DC’s History.
