Sunday on CBSs Face the Nation, Gov. John Kasich (R-OH), a former candidate for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, said it was not acceptable for Republicans in Washington, DC to completely get rid of the Affordable Care Act.

The GOP was given control of the government to repeal obamacare. If they don’t they will likely lose the House, and Trump will be impeached. They don’t have a lot of time to do the repeal. If it hasn’t happened by the time announcements are made for next year’s congressional races, there will be a perception that they don’t care about the people who gave them control. That perception will doom them.
Repeal the ACA!
It was nothing but lies and it stole insurance from working America to benefit insurance companies and government.
Completely getting rid of Kasich... acceptable.
It’s KASICK that has to be ended first! Get rid of this loser, who is gumming up the works to free the people from Odungocare.
Not just 2700 pages in the original law, but 20,000 pages of regulations forced down our throats by central planners. Kasich, et al. should be forced into the “system”.
Sign up for medicaid everyone. The guberment will take all you assets to pay the bills when you die. demorat way to keep everyone poor.
Kasich forced Medicaid expansion under the ACA on us Ohioans. It was the final nail in his coffin for me.
I agree that the government is at fault for their problems. I also think that no matter what happens, nobody has the money to sue the government to make their case.
Under the old system, their health care would not have been able to drop them, so the same would be the case with the repeal of ObamaCare. Some health insurance company is carrying them now. That someone, no matter who it is, has a legal obligation, as I understand it, under the 1996 law.
Kasich is out after this term expires, I think next year. Will he run for Sherrod Brown’s senate seat?
God only knows. He needs to just ride off into the sunset.
Completely getting rid of Kasich and Obamacare is acceptable.
Ah, good to know about them not being able to be dropped, didn’t know that and that would solve their problem. Thanks.
The son of a mailman is definitely not the right person to elect to public office...
My memory says there are 70-100 billion in taxes annually added because of ObamaCare.
Breitbart ran an article last year saying the total cost of ObamaCare had risen to 2 trillion over the next 10 years. That’s 200 billion a year.
Where does the difference of 100 billion come from? It comes from the premiums, deductibles, and borrowed money.
But, repealing ObamaCare would instantly stop about a 100 billion a year from coming into the treasury.
Knowing politicians, they WANT that 100 billion bucks. That’s a lot of walking-around-money as far as they are concerned.
That’s why the establishment wants to keep ObamaCare. Follow the money. And now they’ve got it rigged with such high deductibles that no one really has effective insurance anyway. So, for them, it’s ALL walking-around money.
Kasich was caught taking money from Hillary to bash Trump.
They just need to keep getting on one of the plans with one of the companies.
They can’t decide to not get with a company just because they hear it is being repealed.
That’s not in his nature. He turned out to be a real ego maniac.
Um, for those not in the know, Kasich is in his 2nd term and it ends in 2018. Please keep informed - thank you.
He is one politician who blew his viability out of the water. If he’d just tried a little bit to be balanced, he could have come out of this doing really well, but he chose to be a hater instead.
He did such crazy stuff that those of us who’d supported him for governor were amazed. It was a true head-scratching moment.
I now think that he’s a little off in the head.
That's the bottom line. Once the Central Planners in Washington have created an "entitlement", it would be easier to empty the Great Lakes than to get rid of it.
