Now THAT brings back memories!
Glad it is coming back home.
There is a fun family game - Cranium - that uses Play-Doh as one of four challenges. The adult children still love making things with the stuff.
Will the new factory be staffed by Lego robots?
I can’t believe I’m the first one to mention it after 26 posts before mine, but this is GREAT for the SNOWFLAKES as they needed playdoh and safe spavcs after Trump won in universities and colleges all around the US according to the news (fake news?). Now that it is made in the USA again it is more winning. MAGA!
Very easy to make your own homemade play dough. I’ll bet every Mom has made it with her kids. AND, it’s Made in America already!
1 cup flour
1 cup water
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1/3 cup salt
1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil
food coloring
Love it! Nothing like a good morning chuckle.
Good to hear, but Taxxachusetts?
Win...Mattel, when will Barbie immigrate back to the USA? (And Hot Wheels and Matchbox)
Will it be made at the old Milton Bradley East Longmeadow plant? If so, I wonder if they’ll ship the material by train. (I know AJ Bellivue, the owner of Central New England RR, and the New Haven used to serve the plant)
Bur...but...but...Americans can’t afford to pay the higher price.
That’s what the “experts” said. /s
“Hopefully theyve changed the formula. Its been over 50 years since I played with Play-Doh, but as I remember it, if you left it out of the can for more than 2 minutes it turned to granite and you couldnt use it again.”
Empathy here.
There was always the hope of kneading the heck out of it, and pouring water on it, until it came back to life.
Sometimes was a hopeless case: came apart like day-old meatloaf.
Oh, that sweet smelling jar of white paste from kindergarten, of course I tasted it. Smelled better than it tasted but not awful, about like oatmeal.
Yep, a nose can make a fool out of dummies like me, hence my one and only swig of pure vanilla extract! Good Lord Almighty!!!
HOME MADE PLAY DOUGH
Ingredients
1 cup of flour (any type)
1/4 cup salt
1/2 cup water
3 - 5 drops natural food coloring
><
Mix together the flour and the salt.
Mix together ½ cup of warm water with a few drops of food coloring.
Slowly pour the water into the flour mixture, stirring as you pour. Stir until combined, then knead with your hands until the flour is completely absorbed. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour until it doesnt stick at all.

I love my pasta machine. I’m craving five cheese ravioli like crazy right now.
Winning!!
