It is not naiveté. I never thought Milo was being ironic. He is very much stereotypical gay guy.
When I lived and worked in lower Manhattan, I eventually began to find gay guys , especially the Milo types, extremely grating on the nerves. But moving away for a good long while has eased that. Now I find the people who live around me now to be grating. But I'm just that way, and I am a personality snob.
I support Milo because of his fearlessness against the left. Weather you call it trolling, or being a contrarian or a drama queen, I don't care. He does what a lot of all-talk Freepers wouldn't do. He goes right into the lion's den and calls them out and wins fans in a demographic that actually counts.
I have no problem with people who like Milo and think he’s doing a good job, although I personally think he’s a phony. It’s the endless sentimentality attached to him - especially from female freepers. And, I’m sorry, that last video of him chattering away about Father Mike, while it wasn’t a total shock to me, it was disgusting.
I agree. Milo takes on the left without hesitation and without regard for “triggering” or “feelings”. He is pro-life, he sees feminism as the true enemy of women, and drives the leftist college scum into real fits of rage. This is why they made such a thorough search to find something to destroy him with. For every time he is annoying, he is also hilarious and spot on. I really hope he can transcend this, but they nailed him good.
