As a conservative, my reflection over time regarding both Bush presidencies has diminished my opinion of them as leaders. I don’t know that this country would have had to deal with 8 years of Clinton and 8 years Obama, both of which did great damage, without the “compassionate conservatism” of the Bushes. No more.
