A few weeks ago I noticed a new show called “Riverdale”. I wondered if it was the same Riverdale as in the Archie comic books. I had not read one since around 1960 but was surprised that it indeed was.

Before long, it seemed interesting, sort of a “Smallville: meets “Twin Peaks”. I noticed a bit of political correctness but that is to be absolutely expected now.

I watched just a bit of another couple of episodes and it actually was pretty interesting but it soon became apparent that it was pushing just about every liberal social idea there was. I reluctantly quit watching.

Just not going to cave to these liberal activists.

Archie comics are liberal hell on earth now. They took the most wholesome brand in America and thoroughly destroyed it.

USENET still has rec.arts.tv as a pretty active group, even when the BS political stuff is filtered out.

Any way, "Riverdale" with all its warts was talked about. Can't remember if it was projected to survive the obvious in-your-face "updating" of the characters.

I read something that made me laugh the other day. They parodied Riverdale in a dirty movie called Beaverdale recently. Why are libs so obsessed with archie comics, tv shows and movies right now? It’s so weird.
