There is a reason that it is illegal to be armed when consuming alcohol. Even in TX.

In Minnesota, believe it or not, you can drink and carry.
However, at .04 BAC, you get a free ride in a Police car.

It is very, very, very difficult to explain our pro-RKBA position to even an unbiased non-gun person when they read a tragic story like this in the news.

There is a reason that it is illegal to be armed when consuming alcohol. Even in TX. So if I'm drinking—and I don't happen to be Chuck Norris—I'm totally at the mercy of the nearest violent drunk?
Someone who is drinking, or has been drinking, still has a right to act in self defense.
Therefore, such laws aren't worth the paper they're written on... even in TX.
