I think this is why more states are going concealed carry. There are more than just the regular thug criminals out there.
Shoot, I had an experience (last year I think) where someone mis-heard what I said at a gas station. They thought I had $100 cash (not even close, I had $8). They followed me through several turns - I was thinking, the ONE time I needed to be armed and I left it home because I was just making a run to the gas station. Thank God, nothing happened — when they saw me stop, they took off. Still, I memorized the license plate (which I gave to a cop) and captured pics of the vehicle from the store security and saved it. Talk about out of nowhere....
I always say it’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
