In 1998 Alan Colmes did a beautiful interview with Gene Shepherd (decades famous late night radio personality at WOR New York for many years.)Gene’s claim to fame was writing
“A Christmas Story” and he also adapted it to the film version we all love and also did most of the background dialog.

Wow... thanks for that link of Alan Colmes interviewing "A Christmas Story's" Jean Shepherd. I'm a big fan of the movie. I didn't know about Shepherd's radio background.
