Actually, it did hurt the Clintons, just not to the extent that it would have had the press not been carrying their water. Be prepared for the media to hang the “Trumportation” of babies around the neck of Republicans like we hung 0bamacare around the neck of the dems. There has NEVER, in the history of this nation, been a president, UNTIL NOW, who didn't get a "honeymoon" period.
Though the Whigs and those in that era's media went after Andy Jackson,tooth & nail, before he became president, that abated, after he was sworn in. And all of THAT filth, Jackson believed until his dying day, killed his wife. And it just may have.
And in my lifetime, there has NEVER been protests, marches against, nor any of the other crap going on today, against a president....and NOT before I was born either.
