What a difference a few days makes.
If the bulk of the major media had been experiencing grief over the election of President Trump, it appears as though the White House press corps has reached the stage of acceptance.
Acceptance that Trump is the president, Sean Spicer is the White House press secretary, and that’s the way it will be.
A truce, of sorts. And a largely amiable one at that.
It was just last Wednesday that the establishment press appeared to be in an all-out war with the White House.
When President Trump used a press conference to attack what he called fake news coming from some major news outlets, reporters complained bitterly and launched fiery exchanges with the commander in chief.
(Although, as WND reported, the president himself seemed more amused than aggravated, with Rush Limbaugh remarking, “Folks, he’s enjoying this like I’ve never seen a president enjoy a press conference. He’s toying with these people.”)

Tuesday’s was the first daily press briefing in a while, owing to the president’s travel to Florida and the federal holiday Monday.
Spicer began on a friendly and collegial note, saying he had missed the press, evoking a ripple of gentle laughter.
And that set the tone.
The daily White House briefings appear to have settled into a groove of a mostly cordial, calm and professional mutual respect.
Reporters and Spicer alike seemed relaxed and friendly, while always staying on point, pursuing their own agendas and topics of interest.

The MSM will play along, but behind the curtain, they will have their minions looking under every rock to find something on anyone associated with Trump.

I see their suddenly ‘good behavior’ as a different form of DISTRACTION; remember-they are MANIPULATORS and use both bad AND good feelings to get the job done. And they are very good at it! They’ve even got some believing that the Leopard has changed it’s spots overnight!
They are just wearing a mask, playing a part, but they are still ‘the enemy’;’they can’t hide their lying eyes’.
AND as the saying goes, “you should keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”.

You are exactly right. That is how you deal with liberals. STAY ON OFFENSE and never let up. That is the key.
Libs absolutely hate being on the defensive. They lose their self-righteous, elitist mojo when someone stands up to them, publicaly calls them out on their lies, and pushes back hard. Like bullies everywhere, they will step back rather than run the risk of an embarrassing ass kicking.
Too bad the rest of the weaklings in the GOP never figured this out.
The MSM will always be the enemy. They are just waiting for the chance to jump up and stab Trump or any other conservative in the back. The MSM must be shut down. Non-negotiable.
Trust the Enemedia as you would a rabid skunk that is being quiet at the moment.

Could be, certainly. It could also be that the "JournoList" e-mail server was down for maintenance, so the talking points are on hold pending repair.
But they are still asking stupid questions AND the media is reporting only what they construe or make up as anti-Trump news.
I think the light bulbs are beginning to flicker on for the mediots; they now are realizing that this isn't just a Trump eccentricity. He is establishing a new paradigm for how administrations will communicate with the people in the future.
Suddenly, the MSM is feeling like a bunch of veteran telegraph operators, watching telephones being installed.
Can they be more obvious? Can it be any plainer that they think we are idiots? LOL!
