FWIW I say that as someone probably 5-6 years older than this person so I am not just some bitter old dude.
You are correct. You have experienced more in life than that very young naive man. He parrots back reasons that the msm is rife with. Shows he can’t analyze anything. When my daughter was a teenager she knew more than he does now.

Ten years of experience puts this person at about the O-3 military level with perhaps a year or so at that. And does not include Academy time.
I’ve known a few good O-3’s but as a seasoned Commander once declared in the ops shack at an airbase I was working at “GD it, I can’t swing a dead cat around here without smackin’ a lieutenant (O3), somebody get me the Chief! (E7)”
