Actually not so. California has 37% Hispanics like Texas. Most are native born citizens.

In many cases the immigrant generation is a fairly decent type,, but the next generation turns bad.

So don’t just kneejerk it is an illegal.

I’m a native, born in Whittier BTW. Not Hispanic, however. But I grew up with many, now grandfathers.

Living in the Central Valley that has been my observation. The older generation Mexicans were mostly humble and hard working. Their anchor baby kids mostly turn into thugs and bangers.
