Whittier Police Officer Killed, Another Hospitalized Following Shootout With Suspect
Yep, unfortunately the officer who responded to the report of an auto collision had no idea the one who caused the collision was an enemy gang member, who was in a stolen vehicle, who had just been released from prison, and was fully armed.
The cop who responded had no idea who he was dealing with until it was too late. What a damn shame. There are so many of these AH’s on the streets, ya never know when you cross paths with one. And that goes for cops and non-cops.
An air bubble would do it.
“These individuals should never see the light of day.”
Only from the gallows......
Execute the Turd, then send him back to Mexico.
Shaved head, tats, gang member & repeat offender ... but no wife beater tee-shirt, so he can’t be illegal.
Obama and Soros celebrate.
Looks only partially human.
No ID yet, but an unconfirmed tweet has the perp suspected in a homicide in East LA this morning....
Gang member. If foreign born, has he prior arrests.
If so, was he not deported due to a sanctuary city policy?
Did he use the Gun Show Loophole to get the Gun?
Never mind, there is no Gun Show Loophole in CA.
Private Transfers of Guns are Illegal, so I wonder what FFL sold him the Gun?
Let’s see, he got out of Prison two weeks ago, so he must have had to wait for the 10 Day Cooling Off Period we have in CA to take possession of the Gun.
Now I’m really confused. All these Laws in place and he still got a Gun? What’s up with that? Just because he’s a Criminal doesn’t mean he can just ignore the feel good Law.
Whittier Police Chief Jeff Piper identified the deceased officer as veteran officer Keith Boyer, of Whittier, and the wounded officer as Patrick Hazell, also of Whittier.
Boyer, a father and grandfather, was a couple years away from retirement, said Jeff McNeal, his friend and bandmate.
He was genuinely the nicest guy youd ever want to meet and he had a great joy of performing music and bringing smiles to people, said McNeal, the lead vocalist and founder of the Temecula rock band Mrs. Jones Revenge. He was proud of the work that he did and we were proud of the work that he did both on and off the stage.
McNeal said Boyer was a lifelong resident of Whittier. The two met several years ago through a mutual friend and in 2014, when the band was in need of a drummer, McNeal gave Boyer a call.
He was an exceptional musician, McNeal said. When he joined our band, he elevated us to a new level that wouldnt have been possible. His skill was such that we were able to play more challenging, more difficult songs.
Whittier police Officer John Scoggins said Boyer was the third in the citys history to be killed in the line of duty.
The Dems own this one.
This happened in our neck of the woods. Wifey and I know some Whittier Police officers. God rest the soul of Officer Boyer.
It was on the national news tonight. Showed a video of the perp. No mention of gangs, or illegal entry, or Mexican.
It DID mention he was paroled from prison two weeks ago and shot the policeman with an evil “SEMI-AUTOMATIC HANDGUN!”
2 hours later and still no ID released.
They’re being real tight lipped on the suspects ID. Bet the rent, they knew exactly who this guy was within 1 hour of the murder.
Heard this evening that 1,000 people gathered in Whittier, to pay tribute to the fallen officer.
Police Chief clearly and strongly blamed increase in violent crime, to voter passed propositions that reduce punishment, let bad guys out early etc.
But the perp is still NOT ID'd...
“It could have been an early release due to Prop 47 or the more recent one whose number escapes me, both of which the stupid voters approved.”
Doesn’t this have the effect of nullifying CA’s “three strikes” law? I can’t otherwise figure why this guy should have been out of prison!
