It is the trauma of molestation or seduction in the pre-adult years that induces same-sex attraction disorder.

I believe it's a coping mechanism, as if the mind tries to convince itself that it really wanted the molestation to happen in the first place.

it is learning to ignore the still small voice that tells a person the sin of homosexuality is wrong, a sin- it is a giving over to the psychological confusion while subduing and ignoring the universal moral code written on the heart-

That’s part of it, but the disorder is induced by the trauma. This mechanism is pretty well known wrt other disorders, but they can’t admit it with SSAD.

Exactly. This is also how a number of women deal with having been raped—they amp the behavior up to show they have always “owned” all such occasions.

It is a sort of “pulling oneself up by their own bootstraps,” but based in dysfunction, creating more dysfunction.
