Sorry, but long read obscuring the obvious.
The Bureau, though a number of legal avenues, was listening to the phones, not of LGG Flynn, but the Russian he called. When one tapes a call, you hear both ends of the conversation.
During that call,
1: LTG Flynn either discussed classified materiel that should not have been discussed with a person not known to LTG Flynn to be cleared for such information (and if a SOV certainly not cleared) and/or communicated via an unsecured line. (Hillary 101)
or
2: Items discussed violated the Logan Act.
Either is clearly probable cause for further investigation. That is clearly cause for the FBI interviews. Lying to an FBI agent is a serious felony. Just ask Dennis Hastert.

Right on several points. And as I’ve said before, Flynn has never said release the transcripts, I want to clear my good name. End of story. There are obvious reasons why that will never happen.
It is clear that you didn’t read the article.
No it's not, ask Hillary Clinton.
It depends on what the FBI wants to do. J Edgar Hoover made political blackmail popular with his techniques.
