Because she would be easier to understand?
Because she represents all of us, and I, for one, value articulateness?
Because not using proper grammar (e.g. not using pronouns when she should) makes her sound uneducated?
I like her accent and diction.
She is authentic and that is refreshing to say the least.
She is who she is and she should not be afraid to be who she is. It’s great.
In my mind, the last “First Lady” could speak english just fine, but what came out of her mouth angered and nauseated me.

I think her accent is beautiful & she is quite articulate. We have older German friends, both academics, who have been in this country 50 years & they still have a strong accent. My mother in love moved her from Italy 60 some years ago & has no accent.
Melanie does not need to be cleaned up at all. Her accent is very charming & goes with her personality which is lovely.

Hearing her speak, knowing some of her background, is at once inspiring, melodic, mesmerizing, and yes, sexy.
But what comes through most eloquently when she speaks is her sincerity, her honesty, her love for her family and for this Nation.
I'll take that over perfect diction every single time.
Pronoun use is optional in some grammatical constructions in many slavic languages. How many languages do you speak fluently?
