A month ago according to Breitbart, he was displeased that Assad with Russian air support was able to take Aleppo.
I'm no expert in that situation by any stretch, but seems to me we should just step aside and let Assad and Putin extinguish ISIS in Syria. We can deal with Assad later down the road if there's some compelling reason to do so.
