The much-ballyhooed Day Without Immigrants turned out to be a day without many protestors or any political impact, but with many Mexican flags, angry slogans, and a muted social-media response by amnesty advocates.

Silly thing is most people don’t object to immigrants here legally (if they work and assimilate). It is the illegal, welfare sucking invaders we want gone.
I teach in an urban school, over 85% hispanic. Many “protested” (these kids will latch on to any excuse to skip school). Needless to say, I had less than 4 kids in every class. Thanks, got a lot of reading done. Hey, next week, have a “week without immigrants”, “month without immigrants”.
The protesters are getting worn out by all the calls for protesters....sweet.
Has anyone ever pointed out to the amnesty advocates that amnesty is something that by definition can only be granted to criminals - by their call for amnesty they are confirming that those “migrants” are criminals!
A Day Without Immigrants apparently applied to their rallies/protests also.
I love me a good siesta.
So I take it that all the truants failed the pop quiz they missed?
I hope employers noted names of employees and reported them to ICE for further action.
