Ella usually set the standard with her perfect diction. This 1956 recording features Buddy Bregman backing her. It’s a bit lush and quite different from Frank’s minimalist approach. I might give this one to Frank.

Even though Ella’s voice IS sublime, I really didn’t need the “Thousand Strolling Strings” LOL!
