McCain is Trump’s biggest problem in Congress by far. Time to get serious about neutering Mr. McCain. That means finding leverage over him, if possible, thru some of these means. He’s likely not running for re-election again and you won’t be able to recall him because most Dems will vote to keep him there along with some portion of GOP voters.
1) Do his actions overseas on or on the phone w Australian ambassador constitute violation of law?
2) What are the largest companies in his state that have pending government contracts? Should these be flagged for further review to slow down the process? That is, can we create issues for his wealthier constituents so he is hit from both sides?
3) Does Mr. (or Mrs.) McCain have any skeletons in closet? Perhaps not but it wouldn’t hurt to check.
4) We should reconstruct who he visited overseas on these little trips to arm “freedom fighters” to see if we can document that he has been communicating with people on known terrorist lists.
5) Can we find any documentation proving he aided in arming ISIS?
6) McCain’s been tied to a non-profit which received large donation(s) from KSA. Perhaps he can be the poster child for Trump draining the swamp by being influenced by foreign donations.
7) McCain has a foundation, much like the Clintons. A lot is to be learned digging into those tax returns and donations. Perhaps a pattern can be found relative to bills moving thru the Senate.
I hate to say it, but McCain is going to do everything he can to impeach Trump when he gets the chance unless Trump sticks to a very hard line on Russia or Trump makes McCain’s political life a living hell.
The Flynn matter is unimportant, unlike the fake news hype. Only a liberal would think that a personnel decision by the president is an analog for chaos. Besides, America got the president who doesn’t smell like boiled cabbage, urine and farts, so there’s that.
Did he talk to any Russians?
In a way, this might work out just fine for President Trump if these European fools believe McCain’s lies and enter into negotiations while totally underestimating the capabilities of the Trump administration.

It is absurd to say Trump’s team is in array or there is confusion or chaos when he has only been in office a month.
But even if it were true — so what? When I go about a major housecleaning the place looks like a wreck for a while. The truth is that major changes SHOULD look a bit unsettling and chaotic as everything is upended, reviewed and replaced.
If everything looks calm and boring then Trump is not doing what he said he would do. Chaos in DC is fine by me.
