This is what I have finally come to. He didn't do anything wrong, he was speaking on Trump's behalf saying essentially the same thing Trump is saying. So he has nothing to cover up, and no reason to lie. So maybe he just gave Pence the bare-bones of the conversation, not knowing Pence would jump in front of a camera and start talking about it.
When it turns out Pence misspoke, he throws Flynn under the bus. Flynn takes the bullet like a good soldier. Forced to choose between Pence and Flynn, Trump asks Flynn to bow out.
That is certainly what it looks like.
I have really had it up to here with this BS and those engaging in open hostility to President Trump.
I’m ready for extremely severe consequences to befall them. Every last one of them.
