I looked at them too. I’d have evacuated before the order.

I would move loved ones out for the next couple of weeks if I was in the area and inventory stuff I really didn’t want to be under water.

Sure maybe there is a 1% chance of failure, but that’s enough.

Government incompetence is often (usually) unquantifiable. Read up on the levee districts in new Orleans.

You have no idea of the condition of the dam/reservoir. Nobody does, because they haven’t checked thoroughly. It’s going to be full again next week. How much do you trust in government?

Evacuate when the rain comes.

Sound advice.

It appears there’s no way of knowing what’s going on underneath until/if it dries out and they reduce levels considerably.
