They won’t get it until they have a seriously horrifying tragedy that kills a whole bunch of innocents where they live.
The enclaves scattered throughout the territory generally known as “the United States of America”, designated as “blue”, are not easily swayed by either logic or critical thinking. It is difficult to imagine any series of tragedies that would modify their thinking sufficiently so they would stand up and DEMAND the underlying threat be eradicated.
Even 9/11, terrible though it was at the time, faded in their collective consciousness with surprising speed, and they are extremely irritated at the tendency of others to fixate of the grave consequences since.
It is a pity that so many who do NOT share this distorted view of history are going to be sucked into the vortex of mass death and wholesale destruction of vast swathes of real estate, goods and intellectual property, as collateral damage.
The Judgment of God can be massive and quite spectacular. And still no man can know the outcome until it is past.
They won’t get it even then. They will rationalize that the “brownshirts” caused it and the Muslims would have been peaceful otherwise. There is no curing the disease of the Leftist mind other than by isolation or death.
